Lucky Baskhar became a memorable hit for Dulquer Salmaan, director Venky Atluri and Sithara Entertainments. The film also emerged as one of the most watched Telugu movies on Netflix.
Venky had plans for a sequel earlier but he was busy with his next film starring Suriya. Dulquer too had several commitments, which delayed the project.
Now the latest update is that the sequel is finally taking shape. Recently Dulquer and Venky held discussions about the Lucky Baskhar sequel and the talks are said to be positive.
If everything goes as well the shoot is expected to begin in the second half of 2026. Venky has completed the shoot of Suriya’s film which is aiming for a summer release next year.
After that he will focus on finishing the script of the sequel and start shoot. Sithara Entertainments will produce this sequel as well.
